Even Path Slope
Equalize selected edgepath's slope, between selection startpoint and selection endpoint.
Useful to give the same slope to a connected series of edges.
Type: Prep, PathMenu: Extensions > Landshape > Prep > Even Path Slope
Input
- One raw open continous edgepath, with a distinct startpoint and endpoint.
- One or more groups with 1 open continous edgepath.
Usecases and Tips
- Even Path Slope will change the elevation of all edge endpoints inside your path, as it traverses along the path.
- Even Path Slope will leave your selection's startpoint and enpoint untouched.
- A typical usecase is to control edgepaths that will downstream be used as input for other Landshape commands.
- The slope effect is linear. This means that the slope is the same throughout the selected path.
- For instance, if you have a centerline for a road, but the centerline is rising in a jagged manner, Even Path Slope will homogenize it for you. Get Even!
Known Limitations
- Currently, you may even out only one distinct raw selection at at time.
