Rebuild View

What Rebuild View Does

Rebuild checks for all currently active View Items, and then synchronizes these with the current terrain.

Rebuild will give the same result as manually toggling each active View command off and on again.

When to Use

After reshaping terrain, some terrain-driven Landshape View items may get out-of-sync with the terrain.

This includes View Items like Skirt, Water, Contour, and Grid.

To synchronise active view items with current terrain, use Rebuild View.

⌚ Note that for large terrains and high-impact items, such as Contours with very tight spacing, Rebuild can be slow.
