Landshape installs like any standard Sketchup extension. The instruction below is for users who need help with installing a Sketchup extension.
Are you new to Sketchup extensions?
To start using Landshape, you first need to install Sketchup, then install Landshape. Landshape installs like any standard Sketchup extension. To install it, follow the instructions below.
Once you have Sketchup and Landhape installed, you can start experimenting with the tools.
1. Install Sketchup
To run Landshape, you need Sketchup desktop installed. While Landshape works in Sketchup 2023 and newer, you should always try to use the latest version of Sketchup.
Landshape is designed to follow the system requirements of Sketchup Desktop.
- The latest Sketchup version is always recommended. All Landshape features should work on Sketchup versions 2023 and newer. Download the latest Sketchup here.
- Landshape works on both Windows and MacOS. Landshape is not available on the web version of Sketchup, since the web version does not support Sketchup extensions.
- To use Landshape, you need a mouse that has a scroll-wheel and three separate buttons. Landshape should work also using trackpads or drawing tablets, but this is not yet fully tested.
2. Install Landshape
Always use the latest Landshape version.
You can download Landshape from e.g. Sketchup Extension Warehouse, or from Holygon Downloads.

- Landshape is available as a fully-featured free trial.
- Once you have downloaded the extension, install it in Sketchup.
- You can install Landshape like you install any other extension.
