Brush Menu Overview
Brushes are a quick and effortless way to edit terrain.
Brushes are especially useful when the boundary of the affected area does not need to be exact.
Often, brushes are a good layup for the more accurate Pick commands.
Landshape offers two kinds of brushes. They work in similar, but different, ways.
Classic Brushes
Brushes Grab, Raise, Sink, Level, Bank, Slope, and Smooth are Standard Brushes.
Currently, Standard brushes:
✅ Highlight terrain vertices
✅ Support Geofencing
❌ Don't outline stroked area
❌ Don't support unstroking
Area Brushes
Brushes Noise, Mesh and Zone are Area Brushes.
Currently, Area brushes:
❌ Don't highlight terrain vertices
❌ Don't support Geofencing
✅ Outline stroked area
✅ Support unstroking
Holygon aims to harmonize these feature sets, making all brushes support all features above.
