Working with Terrain Profiles

Terrain profiles work just like Sketchup's standard profiles.

The effect of profiles is most salient when your terrain is undulating and seen from a low incident angle.

For instance if you are standing on the ground, and looking at rolling hills in the distance.

Profiles are a means of visual expresseion, and do not affect Landshape functionality.

The default state is for profiles to be off.

View Profiles Resets Terrain Edge Format

– Did you know? If the format of your terrain edges has got out of hand, you can run View Profile to reset it back to default.

To reset terrain edge format, simply toggle :View Profile: twice.

Note that View Profile affects all terrain edges in your entire model, except Zone Bounds.
