Type: Pick, Mesh, ShapeMenu: Extensions > Landshape > Pick > Road
Input
- 1 or several groups containing an open edge path.
Pro Tips 💡
- Roads made with Road are automatically Fenced. After creating a road, try stroking some standard brushes along the roadside. Be sure to right-click and activate e.g. Stop By Fence to see the Fence effect.
- To create simple road networks, iteratively Road different groups whose path cross each other in plan.
- Road will try to autosmooth your input. The elevation of your input path does not matter.
- Road i a simple command. For full control, create roads manually, by combining several atomic commands, e.g. various Path commands, Mesh, Embed, Fence, Brushes, Sweep, Grade, Blend, Zone, and more. While this is more work, it will give you much more fine-grained control of the results.
