What Is Compfire?

Holygon Compfire is a Sketchup extension that helps you easily create, manage and use a custom asset library.

Compfire is developed and published by Swedish Sketchup studio Holygon.

Compfire in use. In Compfire's Finder, you can search for your components using text, or by browsing the asset categories. Then place and rotate them with a single click.

Find, Place, Count, Export

Compfire helps you quickly search and find library components in an asset browser, effortlessly place them in your Sketchup model, count them in a custom takeoff or bill of materials, and export the results. Everything can be done in batch. Compfire aims to be user-friendly and fast.

Structured Library

Compfire is based on data integration. Compfire keeps all components in one single Asset library, and all asset metadata in one single Catalog. The library is a folder, the catalog is a spreadsheet. Compfire unites them.

Scalable Library

Compfire is designed to be scalable. The size of the library can range from a small single-user starter set, to a vast collection with thousands of production assets shared by thousands of users company-wide.

Unified Library

While Sketchup treats the current model as a database, Compfire goes one step further. Compfire turns your asset library into one unified database. Compfire supports using the same assets in thousands of Sketchup models, and enables synchronizing assets across them.

Like Sketchup itself, Compfire is simple yet powerful.
