Stage Menu Overview
In Compfire's Stage menu block, you will find commands that help you stage, edit and control your item library. The Stage menu was previously called the "Edit" menu.
Library Magic Happens Here
If you are your organization's Asset Library manager, this is where the magic happens.
The Stage menu holds commands to batch-import item libraries, edit their properties, Forge new items, check for issues in the Staging model, and then export the updated library back to e.g. a shared server.
Acquaint yourself with the powerful commands in the Stage menu. Soon, you should be able to start managing your Library.
Stage Is for Authors and Editors
If you are using Compfire to import, place and count Items, but do not need to author or edit library items, you do not need Compfire's Stage menu.
For this reason, Compfire's menus and toolbars are split into two:
- Main – for daily usage. Check out the Main menu.
- Stage – for library authors and editors.
