Import Library
Load all Library Items into the model, and Sort them. This a staging model, a sandbox environment, for adding or editing items. When done, Export any Items back to the Library.
Useful for starting your library staging model. Import Library lets you start from your current library.

The staging model is a sandbox model where you prepare components to be included in the library.
When you run Import, Compfire will help you create a staging model by asking you to clear and purge your current model, and then importing exactly 1 instance of every item, while also applying the item metadata from the catalog.
You should always let Compfire clear and purge when importing library. This helps keep the asset database clean.
In the staging model, you can edit existing items, both geometry and metadata, and also add new ones.
When done, use Export Library to export back to the library.
The updated items are now ready to import in a live project.
