Pick Brush
Select and deselect containers by stroking.
Useful to organically select masses of e.g. vegetation on terrain.
Menu: Extensions > Placify > Brush > Pick BrushAn Example: Editing Groves
Let's say you have a grove of a few thousand trees, and you wish to make the trees along its rim smaller.
Use Pick Brush to to paint a selection of trees along the rim.
Then, keeping the selection, switch to the Placify Size tool. Drag the grip to resize.
