Firstline Support: Meet the Status Bar

To understand what your active tool is doing, and learn its options, read the status bar. The Status Bar is located at the bottom of the Sketchup window.

The Placify tool needs to be active for the status bar to show relevant information.

Several Placify tools support phases and modes. The status bar will often show different text depending on your tool's current state.

In a pinch, the status bar is your firstline support.

Secondline Support: Meet Learn

To learn what a tool or command does in more depth, sometimes with context and examples, read Placify Learn.

To access Placify Learn in Sketchup, right-click any item in the Sketchup viewport, then click Placify > Learn…. If you have a Placify tool active, this Learn command will open the Learn page for the active tool.

To access Placify Learn on the web, visit learn.holygon.com/placify.
