Sizing around Axes

Size will scale each selected container proportionally around its Axes. The position of container Axes is thus crucial.

Sizing typically works best when the Axes origin sits close to the container geometry center. Or where it is natural to let it connect vertically to ground. But it depends on your asset at hand.

If you get unexpected results when Sizing, try positioning the axes of your containers to e.g. their Center Bottom.

To set Axes to e.g. Center Bottom, use the Placify command:
Placify > Axes > Set Axes to Bottom Center

Size

Rescale selected containers uniformly around origin

Useful to change the scale of several containers, while keeping relative position.

Menu: Extensions > Placify > Main > Size

Size with or without notching

Click grip to start Sizing. When you are close to the initial size, the grip will jump back.

To size without notch, start Size, and while dragging, move the cursor outside grip.
